Lily Chilvers was an extremely talented young lady. She had several projects on the go before she became ill and was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, which was terminal. She died 8 weeks after being diagnosed.
Lily was owner and illustrator at The Octopode Factory, which she started at age 17 and the illustrations are still available. Lily was writing a trio of fantasy books, she finished the first one and was half way through the second when she died. She also enjoyed writing poetry, which was very heartfelt and poignant.
In the last few months of her life, after taking up acting, Lily appeared as the lead in a short film and made her feature film debut in Remain Humane.
At the same time, Lily was also modelling, learning pole dancing and was a Christmas Elf.
Even though she suffered with anxiety, she never let it stop her doing what she dreamt of doing. I hope she inspires other people to follow their dreams.
