Sheridan has always been a lover of the performing arts, but chose to serve in the Royal Navy when leaving school rather than pursuing a career in film as this was not an option at the time. When this career was cut short due to injury, he gained a diploma in Psychotherapy & worked in Private Practice for 13 years.
His passion for the arts was rekindled in 2013, when asked to act in a couple of projects produced by a relative.
Sheridan has been heavily involved in numerous projects ever since, including a number of short films, three web-series & is currently penning his next feature film. He is equally passionate & comfortable to be either in front of or behind the lens.
In February 2017, Sheridan completed his Masters Degree in Film with Raindance & Staffordshire University. His first paper, on the use of Jungian Archetypes in the Horror Genre was marked at 79%.
His particular area of study was Directing, but not having a Film BA, he also had to study the basics of all other departments, because like the Captain of a ship; a good Director should be able to communicate effectively with all the members of his crew.
At the time of initial filming, the four main actors did not know Sheridan would also be playing the character John, who enters the story near the end, to stir things up!
